O que faz você parar sua respiração por instantes?
Um sorriso? Um texto? Uma sensação? Tudo?
Veja bem, você não é estranho por ter pensado que um bom sorriso congela o estômago, que um texto bem escrito remexe tudo, e que uma sensação indescritível fica pra sempre na lembrança. Aliás, muito pelo contrário.
Incorrigível na minha tentativa de expressão, penso que tudo o que é realmente impressionante faz a respiração pular de par em par.
Digo mais, tudo que encanta é o que verdadeiramente impressiona. Impacto é barulho. Encanto é eternidade.
Pensando nisso, e abstraindo para o trabalho, o que eu pretendo buscar em cada maratona de clicks nada mais é que o encanto de instantes únicos no ‘agora’. Não que a noiva não sorrirá de novo. Claro que vai. Mas, veja bem…aquele sorriso, meio de lado, jocoso, na porta da igreja? Jamais. Ou consigo captar a essencia e encantar, ou não. É simples assim. Ou toca, ou não toca.

Aproveitando o diploma colado na parede, é hora de aplicar tudo que vi durante os 4 anos de faculdade né? Identidade Visual de verdade. Do site ao orçamento. Do Cartão de visitas ao Box do DVD. Tudo com a mesma alma.
O que houve é que em meio a divulgação do resultado da ISPWP, fiquei extasiado e esqueci de dar a devida importância para o novo bichinho que encabeça essa nova etapa visual. Ficam minhas desculpas junto com o meu convite impresso nas entrelinhas da página inicial: ENCANTE-SE

Há alguns posts, comentei do lançamento do FUSION SDE uma fusão de fotografia e vídeo em full HD, captada e editada de um jeitinho todo especial e mais, entregue NO DIA DO CASAMENTO.
O grande bacana do produto, é justamente esse detalhe. O encanto aconte no dia em que os corações estão mais dipostos a receber emoções.

What makes you breathless?
A smile? A text? A sensation? Everything together?
Look, you’re not an E.T. if you tought that a good smile freezes your stomach, that a good text pumps you up, and that one strong incredible sensation stays forever in your mind. By the way, exactly the opposite.
With my strong efforts to express myself, I think that what is really impressive, makes you breathless always.
I say more. Everything that pushes you up is exactly what is quite impressive. Impact is just noise. Enchant is eternity.
Thinking in this way, and apllyin’ to the job, what I really want to get in every wedding is nothing more than the impressive enchant from those times. I’m not saying that the bride won’t smile again. But, look, that smile, a little bit anxious, in front of the church, won’t happen again. For sure.
I have two options: Either I catch this lovely-frame-moment, or don’t. It’s simple like this. I get or I don’t.
As a matter of fact, my post today is like a double invite.

As my graduation course taught me, it’s time to apply what I’ve learned from. A new and fully complete visual identity. From the website to the contracts. From the business card to the DVD Box. Everything with the same ‘RZ’ Soul.
What happens between this announcement, was, actually the announcement from ISPWP. I was so happy and forge to put this things on. Now I put together my excuses and my invite: Enchant yourself.

Some days ago, I told you guys about the Fusion SDE’s launching, didn’t I?
So, now, you can see another try of it. Photography and Full HD Video, put together with the #infocus soul!

A primeira vez a gente nunca esquece! [ Blue Monday became Sunny Monday. ]

E aí que o telefone tocou. E era a alma-fotográfica-gêmea Lu Aith. Sem respiração:
- Ro, saiu o resultado da ISPWP. Você tá onde?
- Então, tô chegando no estúdio. Já entro em pânico com vc!
E não deu tempo.
Instantes depois, a mensagem que lia no celular era a responsável por fazer minha ‘Blue Monday’ virar uma Sunny Monday!
O sonho que tinha tido, dias atrás, estava se realizando.
Era o que eu tinha dito. Se eu puder sonhar eu posso realizar!
E quando estava de olhos fechados, tinha visto que o resultado do meu esforço nos últimos meses estava começando a ser reconhecido, e veja bem, internacionalmente!
A primeira vez a gente nunca esquece. Tenho certeza disso.
Entre milhares de fotógrafos associados, pouco mais de 3 dezenas de brasileiros e algumas centenas de fotos enviadas, tive 2 poesias de instantes mágicos escritas por mim, classificadas dentre as melhores do Concurso de Inverno da International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers.
Não sou o melhor. Nem o pior. Não sou um mágico. Não fabrico coisas. Sou fotógrafo. E daí meu amigo, o coração entra em cena. E hoje, quem foi premiado, foi ele.
Me senti bem por mim, e sinceramente, por uma porção de brasileiros que também figuraram seus nomes entre as melhores fotografias! É bom demais ver a qualidade que cada um imprime em seu trabalho. O Brasil vai dar o que falar!…É só separarmos concorrência de inimizades e pensar que juntos, podemos ir mais longe. E isso, infelizmente ainda muita gente tem que aprender.
Bom, é chegada a hora de mostrar os versos únicos que foram dignos de classificação né?

Lembro bem de quando comecei a idealizar essa imagem. Cheguei pra Dé, com uma cara de maluco e falei:
- Você tem plano de saúde?
- Por quê Ro?
- Quero pendurar seu vestido na árvore, pode ser que vc tenha um ataque!
E sem mais explicações, coloquei em prática o que tinha em mente. E o resultado, tá aí. :)

Essa foi daquelas imagens que a gente brinca bastante para achar. E é também a prova de que espaços pequenos podem render poesias inusitadas. Espelho de decoração. Moldura dos noivos. Voilà, hoje, 16º Lugar na categoria Framing the Subject.

Teimo em dizer que essa segunda feira vai ficar marcada pra mim pra sempre.
As comemorações e agradecimentos se fazem necessários. Mas a realidade, é que o trabalho tem que continuar!
E com mais sentido. E com mais força. E com mais paixão.
Vem com tudo 2010!

And then, the phone rang. It was my soul-photographer-mate, Lu Aith. She was Breathless:
- Ro, Did you see the ISPWP Contest announcement? Where’re you?
- Well, no, I’m just arriving at Studio. I’ll be online in a minute!
The ‘minute’ takes a while.
So, I’ve received a text message announcement that would be responsible to turn my ‘Blue Monday’, on a ‘Sunny Monday’!
The dream I’ve dreamt a few days ago, was just happening!
I’d heard, and Said. If I could dream, I could do!
And when I was dreamin’, with my eyes closed, I’ve seen that the results of my last months efforts was starting to be recognized. I mean. Internacionally recognized.
The first time we never forget. I’m pretty sure about it.
Between a ton of international photographers, a litlle more than thirty brazilian photographers, and of a hundred of nice shots, I’ve had two of my heart images on the Top Pics of the Winter Contest of International Society of Wedding Photographers (ISPWP)!
I’m not the Best. I’m not the worst. I’m not magician. I don’t make things happen. I’m just a photographer. And buddy, my heart talks louder than me. Today, the victory is not mine. It’s of its.
I’m felling happy because of me, and honestly because of a bunch of brazilians that had your pictures figured in there also! It’s really nice to see the quality of all the Best photographers. Brazil is going to be awesome in wedding photography! We just need to separe unfriendiship and competition. We must think that together we can further. By the way, unfortunately, many photographers need to learn.
Well, is time to see the emotional impact of the pictures, isn’t it?

I remember pretty well when I started to think about shot this image.
I met the Bride and ask her:
- Do you have health plan?
- Why?
- Because I’m thinking of put your wedding dress on that tree, and maybe, you can have a heart attack!
With no more explanation, I took the dress, and shot the picture exactly the way I was thinking of. The result, is this.

This picture, was one of those that we work a lot to find out. By the way, is the result of finding nice spots in tiny places. Venue mirror. Subject Framed. Voilà. Today, 16th place at the “Framing Subject” ISPWP category.

I’ll say again, and again, and again that this monday will be unforgetable.
I need to say a lot of ‘thank you’. But the as a matter of fact, the show must continue.
And with more sense. With more strenght. With more love.
Pump me up 2010!
If today I’m right here, it’s because catching me by the hands, a few hearts are inspiring and helping me.

Descansar ou seguir tentando? [Your stuff, depends on you.]

E como numa corrida contra o tempo parti no sábado passado para mais um casamento!
As malas ainda estavam sem desfazer desde a volta da viagem, mas tudo bem.
As câmeras estavam prontas.
As lentes conferidas.
As baterias carregadas.
E, por último, mas principalmente, tinha o coração cheio de vontade de seguir pondo em prática as sensações e experiências que vivi por semanas.
Descansar? Resolvi deixar para depois, a idéia é seguir tentando.
A vida é como uma roda. Se pararmos, rodamos.

Foi desse jeito assim, cansado e esperançoso que encontrei com a Marta no salão de cabeleireiro. Tava com saudade de ouvir as gargalhadas dela! Êta noiva simpática! E ah, fácil, fácil se passa por modelo! =]
A tampa de sua panela, o Alê, não fica pra trás na simpatia não…Mas parece que tinham molhado demais seus olhos na hora da cerimônia!! Não parava de chorar um instante! Eu disse, isso virou moda! Tô pensando em escrever um post sobre Noivos chorões, digo, emotivos!
O fato é que nesse casamento em específico, eu era um plus. Não em questão de qualidade, mas em questão de diferenciação. Estava fazendo outro FUSION SDE, que em breve divulgarei por aqui para vocês verem.
Comigo, equipe cheia! 2 cinegrafistas e mais outros 2 fotógrafos. Uma delícia de trabalho!
Por enquanto, que tal dar uma olhadinha nas fotos?!

And as a race against time, I was shooting another wedding on saturday!
My suitcases [of the trip] weren’t done yet, my room was a mess, but it’s ok!
The cameras were Ok.
The lenses, were checked.
The batteries, fully charged.
And the last, but not the least: My heart was full of wishes to keep continuing to try all the new stuff that I’ve learned on the last weeks.
Take a rest? I decided to do this later. The idea is keep trying’.
Life is like a wheel. If we stop, we roll.

It was just in this way, tired but hopeful, that I met Marta at the hairdresser. I was missing her loud laughs! She is so amazing! What a nice bride!
Your soulmate, Alê, is so nice either! However, looks like somebody had wet his eyes! He didn’t stop crayon’ all the ceremony long! I told you guys, nowadays it’s common!! The groom cries more than the bride! Actually, I’m thinking’ ’bout write a post just wondering about it!

As a matter of fact, in this wedding, I was like a Bonus guy. I was just acting like a photographer and a videographer at same time. I’ll post another FUSION SDE pretty soon.
